Holistic Beauty Rituals That Work: Jojoba Oil, Sugar Scrubs & More
As someone who loves clean beauty and simple self-care, I’ve found a lot of joy in using natural ingredients to nourish my skin and hair. These holistic beauty rituals have become grounding parts of my daily routine—and they really work. Whether you’re looking for conscious skincare tips or natural ways to support hair growth, here are a few of my personal favorites.

- Natural Hair Growth with Jojoba, Rosemary & Mint For anyone dealing with a dry scalp or looking to support healthy hair growth, cold-pressed jojoba oil is my go-to. It’s lightweight, deeply hydrating, and especially effective when paired with a few drops of rosemary and peppermint essential oils—both known to stimulate the scalp. I use a small scalp massage tool to gently work the oil in. It feels amazing and makes a noticeable difference over time.
- Nourished Eyebrows with Castor Oil. Thick, healthy brows—naturally? Yes, please. I apply a little castor oil to keep my eyebrows strong and full. The key is being consistent—and resisting the urge to pick or over-pluck. Castor oil is rich in fatty acids and has long been a favorite in holistic beauty routines. Someone recently recommended Black Castor oil, need to try that one!
- DIY Natural Sugar Scrub (With a Personal Touch) One of my favorite clean beauty recipes is a simple sugar scrub made with olive oil or coconut oil. I especially love olive oil because it reminds me of home—I grew up in Spain, and that scent instantly brings me back to the mediterranean and slow nourishing moments. This scrub gently exfoliates while moisturizing the skin, leaving it soft and glowing. For a little extra you can add some natural scent or dried rose petals.
- Nourishing Hand & Nail Care. Here’s one you might overlook: your hands and nails need love too. A quick sugar scrub on the hands once or twice a week leaves them smooth and refreshed. I also like to make my own natural cuticle oil using argan oil, jojoba oil, and a few drops of rose or lavender essential oil, you can Choose the scent you most Love. It’s a beautiful, soothing blend that keeps nails healthy and hydrated.
These rituals remind me that beauty doesn’t have to be complicated. A few natural ingredients, a bit of intention, and of course Love nourishing us from the Inside-Out, Always!
You can find these natural oils online, local stores and in Stockholm you have Taj Mahal Hair & Beauty at Drottninggatan 100, they have quality oils for a good price.
Let me know If you try some of these, or have other recomendations for me, I would love to hear about the natural remedies or rituals that work for you—share them in the comments!
