Only Love is Real
As I was putting my now 6-year-old son to sleep tonight, and after he fell asleep, I just kept looking at him in the dark, gently carresing his face, I remembered how it was in the beginning—when I used to lie down beside him, feeding him as a newborn. It was the same hand gently moving over his, now a bit bigger head, than it was back then.
But it became so clear to me that it is not the hand that is the same, it is Love. Love hasn’t moved. Love is Beyond time. Love is this burning Pressence, Alive Now.

The hand of my little angel, Alma, only some days young.
My hands are aging, his head is growing, but Love hasn’t aged, it hasn’t moved an inch, because Love is The Source from where Everything is born.
There is no hand.
There is no me.
There is no him.
There is only Love, doing everything. Only Love, loving. Totally still—yet apparently moving everything, loving everything.
Love loving Love. There is nothing else. Only Love. And it is beyond time.
And God is Love. So there is nothing to worry about, nothing to fear—because this Love is all there is. And it’s doing everything. It’s breathing you. It’s breathing me. It’s loving you in every inhale. It’s loving you in every exhale.
And there is nothing you can do to “escape” this Love. Even if you tried, you couldn’t—because you are It. You are Love.
Welcome Home, dear Son/Sun.

And in case You haven’t figured that out by now I’m a devotional heart-crier but for my more mental brothers and sisters here’s another twist:
Imagine God is the eternal Sun—the Creator, giving life to everything. The first, the last, the in-between. And you are His ray of Sunshine. So you can never be separate from Him. You are It. You are One with Him.
And this immense Loving Sun just wants you to shine. That’s why you’re here—to remember, and then rejoice in that remembrance.
I Love You. 🌼🌅
