To Love is To See

Maybe the desire to be seen is just your soul’s longing to Be. To Love. To See.

There’s only the Seeing, the Loving, the Being. It’s all One.

And the one desiring to be seen is just A longing to dissolve into the Love that’s already Here, already Seeing, already Loving. Because there are not two. There’s no one there to be seen, no one to be loved.

There’s just THIS. Only Love.

And when you know that, because who can know this other than ItSelf? the desire to be seen dissolves. And paradoxically, things begin to be drawn to your light. You are seen. You are loved. And we ask God, what do you want from me, where do you want me to go, what do you want me to become? And He is just Here already, Loving, not asking anything of you. Not wanting to change anything, not wanting to move anything until you step back IN (in truth you’re never out of His will but it appears to be like this play for a little while).

And maybe for the first in a long time you allow yourself to Be. To Shine. To not perform. To fully accept His will. To Be Seen, to stand here naked, trembling, exhausted, with nothing to give other than your souls longing to give it all up for HIM. Truly. Fully. Holy.

There’s no other way, there’s no other place, there’s no other time.

Who is waiting? Love is eternal.
