mind: I think I can make this on my own.
It feels comfortable this way.
Heart: Yes, I know you think that way, but the truth is, My way is better.
mind: Oh, I thought I finally made it; that I could just rest here on my own, that I somehow earned this.
Heart: Well, in truth, there’s nothing you need to “do” to earn rest, but that’s a story for another time. Yes, you can rest, also knowing there are other “parts” of you still calling, still whispering for these words to be birthed out, so I appear like this too.
mind: How? I don’t understand. It seems to me like it’s all fine. I’ve got this under control now.
Heart: See, another question. But be honest, you actually don’t have it under control; that’s just another thought. There’s no end to, Here. Having it under control would mean there are only a limited number of parts, and somehow you managed to rearrange them all into what you call the perfect setting. Let’s get down on our knees again. You still feel this longing, right?
mind: Yes, it’s still there. I don’t know why, but it’s always here in the background, like a soft ringing, not leaving me “alone”.
Heart: I know. It’s Me. It’s My calling. It’s Me remembering you. It’s my Love softly whispering to you. You’re never alone. It’s All One.
You can rest now. Love will continue tomorrow.
